Dear Members of the Calgary Alberta Foothills Stake,
We are very excited to announce that Elder Zachary F. Evans, Area Seventy, will preside at our upcoming Stake Conference to be held on October 26 and 27, 2019. All 3 meetings will be held at the Foothills Stake Center (30 Everstone Blvd SW, Calgary).
Meeting Times are
Ward & Stake Council Leadership Meeting: 4-6 PM Saturday October 26 – Stake Center
For all members of Ward and Stake Councils along with their complete presidencies, including clerks, assistant clerks and secretaries.
Saturday Evening Adult Member Session: 7-9 PM Saturday October 26 – Stake Center
All Adult members of the Stake are invited to attend this meeting.
Sunday General Session: 10 AM – 12 PM Sunday October 27 – Stake Center and broadcast to Woodgate, High River & Diamond Valley Chapels.
All members of the Stake, investigators and visitors are invited to attend.
Everyone who wants to may attend Stake Conference at the Stake Center.
We invite you to prepare yourself spiritually for conference by prayerfully studying recent General Conference talks given by President Russell M. Nelson since he was sustained in April 2018. You may also want to take an hour to watch with your youth and children the June 2018 Hope of Israel fireside by President and Sister Nelson. We promise that every effort and sacrifice you make to prepare yourself spiritually will result in blessings from the Lord. He loves you and there is revelation that He will give to you if you will come prepared to listen to the voice of the Spirit.
We also invite you to be prayerful and bold in inviting less active or non-member friends and loved ones to the Saturday Evening or Sunday Morning meetings.
