Dear Members of the Calgary Alberta Foothills Stake,

We are very excited to gather together with each of you in our Stake Conference to be held on June 1-2, 2019.

Ward & Stake Council Leadership Meeting:  4-6 PM Saturday June 1 – Stake Center
For all members of Ward and Stake Councils along with their complete presidencies, including clerks, assistant clerks and secretaries.

Saturday Evening Adult Member Session:  7-9 PM Saturday June 1 – Stake Center
All Adult members of the Stake are invited to attend this meeting.

Sunday General Session:  10 AM – 12 PM Sunday June 2 – Stake Center and broadcast to Woodgate & High River Chapels.
All members of the Stake, investigators and visitors are invited to attend.

Everyone who wants to may attend Stake Conference at the Stake Center.

President M. Russell Ballard, Acting President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, has asked that we:  “Please invite every member of your stake to prepare spiritually for the conference and to attend all appropriate sessions.”

As a Stake Presidency, we also feel a sacred responsibility to do our best to ensure that each member of our stake receives a welcoming invitation to attend the conference.  We ask for your help to ensure that no one is left uninvited.  As such, we call upon all Youth Class and Quorum leaders, every Sunday School teacher, and every Ministering Sister and Ministering Brother to please invite those individuals and families over whom you have stewardship.  Please do not forget those who have not been active for some time. We never know when a heart will change or what impact a simple expression of love may have.

We also invite every member to prayerfully consider if there are others whom the Lord would have you invite who may not be members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Last Stake Conference Elder Taylor asked us to text a name to the missionaries whom we wished had been sitting next to us in Church that day.  If appropriate, we encourage you to invite this, or another, individual to sit with you this coming Stake Conference.

We promise that your expressions of love and care for those you invite will bring about miracles within our stake as each of us exercise our faith together and act as instruments in the Hands of the Lord to gather scattered Israel.

May the Lord bless you, our dear Brothers and Sisters, as together we prepare for and extend invitations to Stake Conference!
