Dear Members and Friends of the Calgary Alberta Foothills Stake,
It is with great excitement that we announce that Elder M. Dirk Driscoll, Area Seventy from Idaho, will preside at our upcoming Stake Conference to be held on November 7 & 8, 2020. There will be a Ward and Stake Council Leadership Meeting on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 4-6pm (counselors, secretaries, clerks, ward mission leaders, temple and family history leaders please attend); a Saturday Evening Adult Meeting on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 7-9pm; and a General Session for all members of the stake and our friends on Sunday, Nov. 8 from 10am-noon. All three meetings will take place at the Foothills Stake Centre.
3 Viewing Options:
IN PERSON: For both sessions on Saturday, we invite all who wish to attend in person to join us at the Foothills Stake Centre (30 Everstone Blvd SW, Calgary). For the Sunday Session, only members of the Evergreen and Canyon Creek Wards are invited to attend in person at the Stake Centre, along with family and guests of those participating in the conference.
WATCH AT CHURCH: Only the Sunday morning General Session will be broadcast to the High River Chapel, Woodgate Chapel, Bannister Chapel, and the Turner Valley Chapel via live internet feed. If you wish to attend, please do so at your own building. Masks must be worn and all safety protocols will be followed as per usual. Agent Bishops, please ensure cleaning is taken care of before and after the meeting.

Saturday Leadership Session (Nov. 7, 4-6pm):
Saturday Evening Adult Session (Nov. 7, 7-9pm):
Sunday Morning General Session (Nov. 8, 10-Noon):
We invite you to prepare yourself spiritually for conference in two ways:
1. Draw near unto the Lord by studying your scriptures and praying daily by yourself and with your family (for those who live with family). (D&C 88:63)
2. Please be prayerful and bold in inviting less active or non-member friends and loved ones to participate with you in the Saturday Evening or Sunday Morning meetings. Feel free to share the links openly. We hope that this unique “virtual” stake conference will provide opportunities for many more to participate who wouldn’t otherwise attend.
We look forward to being with you all on November 7-8!
With love,
President Lee, President Kyle, President Moore
